The Section of Natural History has something for you!
Started in 1945, the Section is Staten Island's oldest environmental club. Members of the Nature Section take part in the annual Christmas Bird Count, Butterfly Count, and other environmental, and birding activies around New York City, and New Jersey. Monthly meetings with lectures are held the 4th Thursday of every month from September through June at the Staten Island Museum, 75 Stuyvestant Place, Staten Island, NY 10301-1998. Monthly ecology walks are held the 2nd Sunday of every month year-round!
